Tillie Szymanske, age 93, of Donora, PA, died Friday, May 26, 2017, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.

She was born in Greenfield, PA on June 16, 1923 the daughter of the late George and Mary (Alexin) Sikora.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church, the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary and the Christian Mothers and Womens Guild where she served as an officer.

Tillie worked at the Donora Public Library and was a longtime secretary for the Donora Seniors. She also served as secretary for the Frontier Democrats and was a member of the "D" town Divas Red Hat Society.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Edward A. Szymanske; and a daughter, Elaine Hall;

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia F. Allard, Donora, PA; Grandsons Eric (Jackie) Allard and Gary (Laurie) Allard; great grandchildren, Falon Allard, David (Shayna) Brown and Dillion Price; and great great grandchildren, Colton and Jase.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday June 1, 2017 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.
