Condolences

Condolence From: Cy Gavin
Condolence: I met Tillie, as a child, when she began working at the Donora Public Library. Her kindness and generosity of spirit made a profound impression on me. I looked forward to seeing Tillie at the library and she encouraged me to always be curious, to read, to think outside the box and to take an active role in the community.

She took an active interest in my reading material (when even my family would not), suggesting new titles and ordering titles from the inter-library loan system.

Tillie treated me, a child, with the same respect I saw her offer any adult.

She was part of an extended family to me and surely many other daily visitors of the library.

She will be deeply missed.

My love and sincere condolences to her family.

Condolence From: Edward & Paula Bagay, & Sarah
Condolence: Our love and condolences to your family Patty, for we loved mom dearly, and she held a very dear place in our hearts. She will be remembered as a very dear friend who spent time with my mom at Thorpe ' s personal care home, and became her friend once more when mom needed a friendly ear, someone to talk to and share life's special moments with as they were both on their way home. Love, Butch, Paula, & Sarah. Love to all, and God bless.
