Helen Erdely, age 90, of Donora, PA, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017, at Dunlevy Manor Personal Care Home in Dunlevy, PA.
She was born in Pittsburgh on March 27, 1927, the daughter of the late Bertha Osleger. A lifelong resident of Donora and a Methodist by faith, she had been employed by Mellon Bank and G.C. Murphy Company.
She spent her retirement years taking care of her home and spending time with her family. Helen was loved and respected by all of those who knew her, largely due to her ready smile and easy going temperament.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Erdely Sr.
Survivors include her son Elmer Erdely Jr. and daughter Susan (Charles) Stacey.

Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc.., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Funeral services will be at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc.. at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 25, 2017, with Fr. Robert Hanna officiating.
Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
