I was scared to move to Donora because I didn't know anyone. I was a single mom buying my first home. The house was located acoss the street from Sam and Pam. Sam came out a greeted me when I first looked at the house. He was very friendly and made me feel at ease about moving there. After I moved in Sam and Pam became good friends and we spent many evenings just talking on the porch. Ten years later I am glad I had the privilage of knowing Sam. He will be greatly missed. He has been a great friend and supporter. I pray God's grace and comfort will surround his family during this time of grief.
