Obituary for Burt Lee Ruth
Burt Lee Ruth, age 64, of Johnstown, CO, formerly of Monongahela passed away Friday, March 4, 2022, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO.
He was born on October 1, 1957 in Fellsburg, the son of the late Howard Ruth and the late Vivian (Johnston) Ruth.
Burt was a pipefitter working through the Plumber and Pipefitters LU 354.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time at his hunting camp in Marienville, PA. He was a member of the Victory Hill Social Club, the Mingo Rod and Gun Club and the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He was a former Mon Valley Youth Baseball coach.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Patti (Laneve) Ruth; a daughter, Aimee (Nathan) Massafra of Broomfield, CO; a son, Ross (Krista) Ruth of Charleroi; grandson, Brecken Massafra; a brother, William A (Toni) Ruth, of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters-in-law, Alice (Richard) Pastella and Margie (TR) Brounce; two brothers-in-law, Louis Laneve and Leonard (Karen) Laneve; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where friends will be received on Sunday March 13, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Friends who wish to attend the funeral services are asked to meet at the Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum on Monday March 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM
Entombment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
