Obituary for Brian Kovalak
Brian Kovalak, age 62, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at St. Clair Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born February 15, 1959 in N. Charleroi PA the son of the late William Kovalak and the late Mary Ellen (Bliner) Kovalak
Brian was gifted in math and sciences, holding a Master of Science degree in Chemistry. He had a kind heart and a gentle spirit, with a desire to always help others. He made donations to charity and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He was a member of the St. Michael Byzantine Rite Catholic Church in Donora.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his sister, Judith A. Kovalak; a brother, Barry Kovalak.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Thursday, February 3, 2022. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 11:30 AM followed by a Funeral Liturgy in St. Michael Byzantine Rite Catholic Church at 12:00 PM, with Rev. Fr. Stephen Wahal officiating.
Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
