Obituary for Margaret Majireck
Margaret A. Majireck, 78 of Carroll Township, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born in North Charleroi on October 5, 1942, a daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Staffieri Ambrose.
Mrs. Majireck retired from Monongahela Valley Hospital Dietary Department in September of 2020 after 32 years of service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Sonny" Majireck, Jr. on April 11, 2013; a daughter, Margaret Majireck; a son, John Majireck, III; a granddaughter, Nicole Keenan; and a sister, Debra Ambrose.
Surviving to cherish her memory are three daughters, Marnie (Todd) Hayward of Vanderbilt, Melissa (Richard) Costello of Bentleyville, Melinda (Matthew) Graham of Elrama; 8 grandchildren, Carey (Joe) Sphar, John (Cassie) Keenan, Derek Kurdilla (fiancee Lacy), Serena Costello (fiancee Cory), Angela Costello, Mia Graham, Madeline Graham, and Mason Graham; 4 great-grandchildren, Zachary Sphar, Ashley Sphar, Nicholas Shrader, and Hunter Keenan; a sister, Lynda Callaway; and a special son in-law, Bill Keenan; also several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at the Donora Campus of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish at 12 Noon on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
