Julia M. Hunt Younkin Vitori, 80 of Donora, formerly of Elizabeth, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA., surrounded by her two loving sons. She was born on October 31, 1939 in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Jerome and Marie Thornton Hunt. Julia worked for Bell Telephone as a switch board operator in Elizabeth Borough and McKeesport Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Vincent (Mr. V) Vitori; three sisters, Victoria Strotman, Bernadette Flowers, and Dawn Marie Tresatti; and two brothers, George P. Hunt and Dale Hunt Sr., and special nephews Dale Hunt Jr. and Jude Tresatti. Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons, Edwin "Bud" Younkin of Donora and Raymond (Cindy) Vitori of Fallowfield Township; two grandchildren, Samuel "Joey" Vitori, and Amber Lynn Younkin Myers; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Catherine (William "Bud") Spinner of Canonsburg; and many special nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Also left to cherish her memory is daughter-in-law Melanie Vitori Dougherty of Butler; and special friends Mark Proctor and Lori Corso of Donora. The family would also like to thank the Home Health Team of Shannon, Brianna, Taylor, Bob, and Mickael for their compassionate and loving care. Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend deserves a beautiful tribute to celebrate her life. We, however, appreciate in this unknown time with the COVID-19 pandemic, that this would NOT be a socially responsible decision and in the best health interest of our family and friends.
