Obituary for Minerva Mucy
Minerva Mucy, age 86, of Carroll Twp., PA, died Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.
She was born July 6, 1933 in N. Charleroi the daughter of the late Michael Assad and the late Ann Zacour Assad.
Minerva had a real love of art. She was an accomplished artist and had many paintngs displayed and sold thru various art clubs she belonged to.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 64 years Daniel Mucy Sr.; two sons, Daniel M. Mucy Jr. of Belle Vernon and Glenn E. Mucy of Carroll Twp.; and two brothers, Cyril Assad of Oakmont and Alan Assad of Carroll Twp.
Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends on Saturday January 18, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 8:00 PM, with Pastor Michael Baumiller officiating.
Interment will be at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
