Obituary for Brian C. Hayden
Brian C. Hayden, 39 of Monessen, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019.
He was born in Monongahela on April 20, 1980, the son of Curtis F. Hayden Jr. and Cheryl Lynn (Smith) Hayden of Monessen.
A 1998 graduate of Monessen High School, Brian went on to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg as a talented athlete with a love for soccer, basketball and football, and was currently employed with United Health Care.
Brian was very dedicated and a loyal friend to all who met him, and had a big heart for helping others. He was a family oriented and compassionate man and was loved by so many.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Amy Marie Large on December 13, 2018.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Daniel (Julie) Hayden; his nieces and nephews, Cheryl, Sammy, Dillan and Melanie; two great-nieces, Ava and Emma; and one great-nephew, Nathan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second Street Extension, Carroll Township/Donora PA 15033, (724) 379-6900, where family and friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019.
Services will be held in the funeral home at 12Noon on Saturday, August 10, 2019 with the Rev. Ken Barner officiating from Crossroads Ministries, Library Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
