Timothy Durka, age 59, of Donora, PA, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.

He was born October 23, 1957 the son of the late Matthew A. Durka and the late Helen Durka.

Tim was employed for over 30 years with the Boro of Donora, as Street Superintendent and Code Enforcement Officer. He was also the owner / operator of Durka Asphalt and Concrete LLC.

He was involved with the Toys for Tots program for many years.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte White Durka with whom he would have celebrated 40 year anniversary May 21, 2018; two sons, Matthew William (Desiree) Durka of Donora and Jacob Timothy (Michelle) Durka of Charleroi; three grandchildren, Owen Jacob Durka, Addacie Evelyn (Sissy) Durka and the soon to be Brynlee Louise Durka; and a brother Dennis Durka of Donora.

Arrangements were handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family received friends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Funeral service were held at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Tom Ravasio officiating.

Entombment was at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA

In lieu of flowers the Tim's family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Shekinah Horse Ranch.
