Esther Mascetta, age 83, of Donora, PA, died Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Mon Valley Care Center in Carroll Twp., PA.

She was born on January 2, 1934 in Shinnston, WV the daughter of the late Alvie and the late Helen (Hodgkiss) Woodburn.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Samuel Mascetta; two brothers, Jack Toomey and Donald Woodburn.

Survivors include her children, Samuel John Mascetta of Donora, Janice Wojtowich and husband Steven of Monessen and Jeffrey Mascetta and fiancee Camil Pato of Carroll Twp.; Granddaughter, Kendra Stansbury and husband Brad of Greensburg; Great Grandsons, Oliver Steven Stansbury and Avery Charles Stansbury; a brother Bill Woodburn of Donora; also several nieces and nephews.


Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900. Private funeral services and interment in Monongahela Cemetery were held at thye convenience of the family.
