Anne D. Delsandro, age 97, of Donora, PA, died Monday, June 19, 2017, at Residence at Hilltop in Monongahela, PA.

She was born February 8, 1920 in Croatia the daughter of the late Frank and Tereza (Yazbac) Igercich.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora.

Anne supported her husband Mayor Albert P. Delsandro during his two decades as mayor and years of service to the community.

She was the owner operator of Anne's Beauty Shop for many years and her clients became her lifelong friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Mayor Albert P. Delsandro; and a brother Thomas Igercich.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Cathy (Ray) Walsh of VA; a son Tom Delsandro of Donora; four grandchildren, Jonathan Walsh, Patrick (Kendal) Walsh, Kathleen (Ryan Galla) Delsandro and Brian (Katherine Zhang) Delsandro; two great grandchildren, Henry Walsh and Kai Delsandro; a sister, Marie Hredzak of Castle Shannon; also several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday June 22, 2017 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Valley Church with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
