Gary L. Sandy, age 62, of Roscoe, PA, died Thursday, March 30, 2017, at his home.

He was born August 5, 1954 in Fellsburg the son of the late Francis and Wilma (Aitken) Sandy.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Connie (Short) Sandy.

Survivors include his children, Gary (Juanneta) Sandy of Donora and Carrie Hixson of Virginia; three Grandchildren, Morgan Sandy, Sebatian Buchak-Sandy and Gabriella Sandy; a sister, Carol Sandy of Fellsburg; and two brothers, David Sandy of Fellsburg and Robert Sandy of Belle Vernon.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Funeral service will be at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 6, 2017, with Pastor John Custer officiating.
