John VanEmburg Jr., age 73, of Donora, PA, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, at his home in Donora, PA.

He was born March 16, 1943 in Bethlehem, PA the son of the late John and Hazel VanEmburg Sr.

John was a veteran of vietnam serving with the U.S. marine Corp.

He was an avid Biker and Fisherman. An accomplished auto body man he restored many vintage autos and motorcycles.

John was always willing to help anybody in need and would give you the boots off his feet, which he actually did when he encountered someone who needed them more than him.

In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by a daughter, Toni Van Emburg; and a grandson Ryan King.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha (Lutz) Van Emburg; four children, Bridgette (Joe) Rossi of Edgewater, FL, Tina (Charles) Casturo of Elizabeth, John Van Emburg of Donora and Babbette Van Emburg of W. Newton; 10 Grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA where a private family visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2017. A private funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm in the funeral home.

Interment will be at Sea Pines Memorial Park, Edgewater, FL
