Joseph Pansino, age 96, of Donora, PA, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at Monongahela Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp., PA.

He was born June 22, 1920, in Monongahela, PA the son of the late Sam and Maggie Pansino.

Joe was the owner of Valley Cigarette Service in Monongahela for many years. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church, Donora, PA.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by two sisters, Angelina and Rose; and three brothers, Domenic, Rocco and Frank.

Survivors include his wife: Jean Pansino; daughter, Shelly Pansino of South Carolina; son, Nino Pansino of Charleroi; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Valley Church at 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 29, 2016, with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
