Lorraine A. Weir, age 70, of Donora, PA, died Sunday, December 18, 2016, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born October 22, 1946 in N. Charleroi, PA the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Brody) Fincik.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora.

Lorraine was a Supervisor for the PA Department of Social Services.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant twin daughters.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph "Moe" Weir; three sons, Jason (Roseanne) Giffin of Elizabeth, James Weir and Joseph Weir both of Donora; three grandchildren, Brady, Isabella and Lily; two sisters, Patricia (John) Sery of Maryland and Margaret (Patrick) Alberts of Rostraver Twp.; also several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Wednesday December 21, 2016 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Pierre Falkenhan as celebrant.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora or to the American Cancer Society.
