Genevieve Tomasiak, age 96, of Donora, PA, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at Residence at Hilltop in Carroll Twp., PA.

She was born September 3, 1920 in Donora the daughter of the late John and Julia (Widuch) Duda.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church and a life long resident of Donora.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Anthony B. Tomasiak on January 8, 2009; a son, Anthony B. Tomasiak Jr.; a sister, Florence Fernandez; and brothers John, Steve, Chester, Alex, Ted, and Edwin Duda.

Surviving are her daughter, Cindy (John) Gorscak of Florida; two sons, Thomas (Rebecca) Tomasiak of Donora and David (Donna) Tomasiak of Donora; grandchildren, Michele, Traci, Tommy, Brooke, Sean, Kaylee and Ian; great grandchildren, Josh, Hannah, Gavin, McKenzie, Riley and Slatter; also several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, October 21, 2016. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home 9:30 AM Saturday October 22, 2016 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Valley Church with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery, Donora, PA
