Barbara E. Abbott, age 66, of Donora, PA, died Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at her home.

She was born in N. Charleroi on April 16, 1950 the daughter of the late John and Leanora "Lenny" (Baker) Majoris.

She was a graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School with the Class of 1968.

Barbara was employed as a Dietary Aide at Mon Valley Hospital and recently retired in October of 2015.

Survivors include her two children, Jodi Lynn (Norm) DiCenzo and John Abbott both of Virginia; a granddaughter, Brittany Abbott; a sister, Marsha (Roger) Smith of Fallowfield Twp.; a nephew, Jeremy (Ashley) Smith and their children Jacob and Harper of SC; also her furry babies, Bentley and Abigail.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where friends will be received on Friday May 27, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Blessing Service will be held at 8:00 PM, Friday, May 27, 2016, with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan officiating.
