Donald "Jake" Jericho Sr., 67 of Donora, PA died on Monday, May 5, 2014, at UPMC Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh with his loving family by his side.
He was born Monday, October 28, 1946 in New Eagle the son of the late Howard K. and Angelina (Rodriguez) Jericho.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era serving with the U. S. Army at the DMZ in Korea.
Jake was a crane operator employed by USX at the Clairton Works.
He was a former president of the Carroll Little League and the Donora Little League.
Jake loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He particularly enjoyed the time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Jericho and Robert Jericho.
Jake is survived by his wife of 50 years, 4 months and 5 days Charlotte Blatchford Jericho; his progeny, # 1 Dawn (Thomas) Kovalak, # 2 Dianne Jericho Naylor, # 3 Donald (Peepson) Jericho Jr. and # 4 Leigh Ann (Ross) Pancoast; 10 grandchildren, # 1 Kristy and Seth (Zeth), # 2 Amy and Juan, # 3 TJ and Tiffany, # 4 Travis (Skootz), # 5 Jeffrey (Neff) Jericho, # 6 Jacob (Jake), # 7 Julie Bug, # 8 Jacquelyn (Jackie O), # 9 Christian and # 10 Daniel; Great Grandchildren, Rivers, Kendall, and Adrian (Perez Boy); a brother Clifford (Darlene Stranko) Jericho; a sister-in-law, Laura Lee; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Anthony L. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA.
