Sandra M. Turkovich, 56 of Donora, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 in Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born in North Charleroi on January 5, 1962 and was a daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret Androsko Turkovich. Sandra was a lovable person who was comical and loved to laugh. Sandra resided with her sister Sheila who was also her primary caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret Turkovich in 1987 and Stephen Turkovich in 2002.
She is survived by six brothers; Steve(Jan) Turkovich of Arizona, Samuel (Bonnie) Turkovich of Belle Vernon, Stanley (Doris) Turkovich of Ohio, Stuart (Debbie) Turkovich of Monongahela, Stanford (Marissa) Turkovich of Donora, and Shawn (Kristie) Turkovich of Carroll Township; six sisters, Susan (Gordon) Natali of Webster, Shirley (Paul) Tomcanin of Long Branch, Sheila (Albert) Slavic of Donora, Sharon (John) Prezgar of Arizona, Sharlene (Phil) Veliky of Donora, and Selene (David) Scheponik of Carroll Township. Sandra is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANTHONY L. MASSAFRA FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE INC., 40 Second St. Ext. Carroll Township/Donora, PA 15033, (724) 379-6900, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018. A blessing service will be held in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018.
Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
