Brenda Applegate, age 61 , of Monongahela, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her home.

She was born August 26, 1956 in Conway, South Carolina the daughter of the late Maxwell and Bertha Lee.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Jonathan Allen and Robert Allen; a grandson and sister.

She is survived by her husband; Robert Applegate; her best friend, Kim Mountain; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday, March 5, 2018. Funeral services will be held at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 6, 2018, with Rev. Mark Woomer officiating.

Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA.
