Lila Mason, age 89, of Donora, PA, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, PA.

She was the born in Monongahela on January 1, 1928 the daughter of the late Earl Metzler and the late Jeannette (O'Leary) Metzler.

In addition to her parents Lila was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Mason; a daughter, Connie Mason Radic; two sons, Gary Gust and Jim Mason; four sisters, Ellen Jarvis, Patty Gosney, Donna Collins and Gloria Mountian; and two brothers, Harry Metzler and Bob Metzler.

Survivors include four daughters, Sharon Pihota of Canonsburg, Sandy (Terry) Gnora of Donora, Annette (Wesley) Winters of Monessen, and Patricia (George) Peck of Donora; 3 sons, John "Jack" (Elma) Mason of Conway, Ronald (Kathleen) Mason of Monongahela and Eddie (Betsy) Gust of Texas; a brother, Paul Metzler of Donora; 24 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held in the funeral at 7:00 PM, Friday, November 10, 2017, with Rev. James Bailey officiating.
