Obituary for Douglas "Duke" Tabish

Douglas "Duke"  Tabish
Douglas M. “Duke” Tabish “The King”, 53, of Donora, passed away at home on September 17, 2017, after a long battle with Cancer. A son of Elizabeth A. Dzvonick Tabish who survives him and the late Ronald J. Tabish, he was born in North Charleroi on August 31, 1964. A lifelong residest of Donora, Dukey owned and operated the Country Club Deli, until his illness left him unable to do so. He was a member of the American Croation Club of Donora, the Carroll Township American Legion Post 949, St. Dominic’s Men’s Club and the Haymakers of New Eagle. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Kelly Aubain, with whom he made his home; a brother, Darryl Tabish and his wife Janet of Monongahela; a nephew, Nicholas Tabish of Monongahela; Brother-in-law, William Miller, III and his wife Anita of Peters Township, and Eric Miller and his wife Beth of Mt. Lebanon; a sister-in-law, Carrie Kowall and her husband Brian of Donora, father and mother-in-law, William, Jr. and Suzanne Miller of Donora; as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. in the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033. (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com . A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday September 21, 2017 with Rev. Fr. Pierre M. Falkenhan as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Donora. The family would like to thank all of the “Dukey’s Defenders” for their constant love and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Cancer Research of your choice.
