Lillian Concetta (DiNatale) Gilotty, age 89, of Carroll Twp., PA, died Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Hershey Medical Center due to complications from the flu.

She was born in Donora on February 12, 1928, the daughter of Cesidio and Christina (Bianchi) DiNatale.

She was a very special lady, gardener, role model, wife and mother with a kindness that was unsurpassed.

She was a 1945 graduate of Donora H.S. and attended every reunion. A faithful member of Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Donora, she belonged to many organizations there over the years.

In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Jennings Gilotty on March 2, 2010; and a brother Raymond DiNatale.

She is survived by children, Kathleen(Doug Croft), Beth (Dale Coatsworth), Paul (Carol), David (Cheryl), Susan (Mark Brooks), Diane(Michael Bernard) ; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Josephine Brody and Anita (Deni) Bibby and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home, 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 19, 2017. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Monday March 20, 2017 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Fr. Pierre Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park.

The family suggests that Memorial contributions may be made to the Donora Public Library or Monongahela Library.
