Obituary for Rose Marie "Babe" DeMarino (Reda)

Rose Marie "Babe" DeMarino, age 89, of Carroll Twp., PA, formerly of Donora went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2016, at the Residence at Hilltop in Carroll Twp., PA.

She was born in Monessen, PA on August 29, 1927 the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Greco) Reda.

She was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora and the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary.

The center of Rose's life was God and family. She was a devoted wife, mother and nana. Her last four years were spent at the Residence at Hilltop where the staff and residents became part of her loving family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alfred "Cal" DeMarino on May 4, 2002; a grandson Jeremy Kowall; and a sister Josephine Reda.

Survivors include her three daughters, Diane (Ronald) Mancuso of CT, Susan (Jack) Kowall of GA and Mary (Jim) Stine of Charleroi; three sons, Dennis (Janet) DeMarino of NJ, David DeMarino of Donora and Joseph (Alisa) Demarino of Trafford; ten grandchildren, David Mancuso, Susan Mancuso, Chelsey DeMarino, Daniel DeMarino, Chuckie DeMarino, Josh Kowall, Jonathan Kowall, Jimmy Stine, Andrew Stine and Sarah Stine; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Adeline Biagini of Monongahela; and several nieces and nephews

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 1, 2017. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Monday January 2, 2017 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church at 10:00 AM with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
