Howard W. "Chick" Johnson, age 89, of Clearwater, FL, died Sunday, June 12, 2016, at his home with his loving family by his side.

He was born August 30, 1926 in New Eagle the son of the late George and Anna Marie (Wyke) Johnson.

In addition to his parents Howard was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey "Mark" Johnson on July 14, 2015; and a sister, Alice Mildred Johnson.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth (Ferguson) Johnson; three daughters, Janice Marie Johnson of Monongahela, Karen Johnson of Monessen and Sandi Johnson of Florida; a son, Larry (Arlene) Johnson of Bethel Park; nine grandchildren, Kristi Feick, Lori Klein, Marjie Mizerak, Dustin Johnson, Jeffrey Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Craig Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, and Patrick Johnson; Great Grandchildren, Jonathan, Nicholas and Elizabeth Feick, Mark Mizerak Jr., Matthew and Logan Klein, Max, Sadie, Aiden, Calvin("strong as a Tiger"),Jaden, Caleb, Callie, Brooklyn, Blake, Nathan, Ryan, Joey and Nellie; also several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 16, 2016. Funeral services will be held at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 17, 2016, with Pastor Matthew Stabe officiating.

Interment will follow at Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
