Condolence: In the late 80's Tom set up an electronic Bulletin Board Service, where people with computers could call a phone number and have his computer answer, and then leave public and private message to one another. What many people do not know is that this bulletin board system brought together a lot of hobbiests that are still friends to this very day. He helped build a community of online people decades before Facebook, and he helped mentor kids like myself. Without his help many of us would quite possibly not be in the professional world today. My first communication to him was via a keyboard and it seems fitting my last would be too. He was a good guy who did a lot of good for his community. My condolences to his family and friends.
