Frank Gorscak, age 91, of Donora, PA, died Monday, December 7, 2015, at St. Clair Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born in Donora on November 11, 1924 the son of the late Martin and Bara (Stukic) Gorscak.

He was a member of the Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora, PA.

Frank served in the U.S. Navy during the World War II. He recieved the WW II Victory Medal and the American, Asiatic, Pacific Campaign Medal.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Catherine "Kay" (Mance) Gorscak; four sisters, Katie Gorscak, Margaret "Mickey" Kosor, Helen Semarge and Carolyn Sladich; also a brother Peter Gorscak.

Survivors include his three sons, John (Cindy) Gorscak of Florida, Frank Jr. (Kelly) Gorscak of Ohio and Mark Gorscak of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Melanie Gorscak, Eric Gorscak, Nicole (Kyle) Cox, Randy McKibben and Danny McKibben; also several nieces and nephews.

Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 9, 2015. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday December 10, 2015 at 9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Valley Church with Rev. Fr. Pierre Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela, PA
