Rose Mary Resovich, age 84, of Bethel Park, PA, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Meadow Crest Nursing Center in Bethel Park, PA.

She was born on June 19, 1930 in Donora the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Basista) Francis.

Rose graduated from Donora High School in 1948. She married Louis Resovich on December 27, 1952. Prior to retiring, she worked for Sterns Furniture in Monessen.

Family and friends were Rose’s passion. As the youngest of five children, Rose grew up to cherish family and community. She was a devoted member of her church, Our Lady of the Valley. In her spare time, she loved to bowl, play cards, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her children, Kathleen Koltash and Richard Resovich and his wife Joyce, her three grandchildren, Jonathan Koltash and his wife Alaina, Kate (Koltash) Vietmeier and her husband Mark, and Jessica Resovich, and her sister, Irene Francis.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Resovich, her brother Roger Francis, and her sisters Norma Vrabel and Dolores Bockert.

Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Saturday January 3 at 9:30 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Valley Church in Donora with Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Entombment will follow at Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA
