Helen Jurik, 100, of Craven Hill went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at Washington County Health Center in Washington, PA..

She was born Friday, February 20, 1914 in Donora, PA the daughter of the late Florindo and Grace (Muscelli) Damiani.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Valley Church.

In addition to parents Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Jurik; a Great Grandson, Luca Lignelli; and three sisters, Jessie Rullo, Amelia Maple and Julia Fronzaglio.

Surviving are daughters, Claudia Carins of Craven Hill, Kathy Lignelli of Craven Hill and Debra (Dan) Jones of Upper St. Clair; Grandchildren, Brian Carins of NY, Jennifer (Nick) Vitna of Treesdale, Shannon (Omar) Olivares of Orlando, Matthew (Heather Timko) Lignelli of Monongahela, Jeremy Jones of VA, Stephanie Jones of New York and Rachel Jones of Ohio; Great Grandchildren, Mason and Morgan Avery Vitna, Kyra, Kaiden, Austin, Evan, and Omar Jr. Olivares, Alessandra Lignelli; sister, Adela Costanza of Washington; and many nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday, June 1, 2014, at the Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com.

Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 9:30 AMfollowed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Valley Church located at 1 Park Manor Road and Second Street Extension Donora, Pennsylvania 15033 with the Rev. Fr. Pierre M Falkenhan as celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora, PA.
