Obituary for Clyde Glenn Walch Jr.

Clyde "Glenn" Walch, Jr. of Donora passed away peacefully on December 30, 2013 at the Galleton Commons. He was born on December 24, 1949, the son of the late Clyde G. Walch, Sr. and the late Helen I. (Gyuker) Walch. He was a member of the Calvary United Presbyterian Church of Donora. He loved going to the family cabin where the family would have summer get-togethers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading, singing and playing his trumpet. Glenn is survived by his sister Janet (Ray) O'Lenic, niece Suzanne (Todd) Rogers, nephew Ray (Jodi) O'Lenic, niece Jennifer (Dr. Ben) Warnock, and six great nieces and nephews Elizabeth, Kathryn, Alyson, Eric, Lauryn and Ethan and cousins (big brother) Dr. Jim (Ruth) Guyker, Amy, Mena Cortese and Wendy Guyker and many other loving cousins and wonderful friends that he cared for deeply.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2014, at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 40 Second Street Extension, Donora, PA 15033 (724) 379-6900 www.massafrafuneralhome.com

A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Anthony L. Massafra Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. located at 40 Second Street Extension Donora, Pennsylvania 15033 with the Rev. James Bailey officiating.

Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, PA.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Walch's name to the Calvary United Presbyterian Church, 800 Thompson Ave., Donora, Pa. 15033.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thanks to family, friends, Rev. Bailey, Calvary United Presbyterian Church family, the ACT Team, Galleton Commons and staff where he most recently resided and called home for his last few months, Anna's home and staff, Mon Valley Hospital and The Charles L. and Rose Sweeney Melenyzer Cancer Center, Dr. Zahalsky and many other caring doctors and staff through the years.
